Dec 1851- age 48-married 30 years. Wife wasn't there-and he was not listed as widowed. Byron Wilkins married Fanny Louisa Comstock 13 May 1866 in Landgrove- Bennington. Louisa Comstock came from this family (below) in the 1850 census of Pawlet, Rutland VT:: Eseck Comstock-age 47- shoemaker.(Name "Edick" in the Index) Rhoda (Bates) Comstock- age 36 Jullia-19 Merrill-18 William-15 Melissa 10 Sidney-6 Louisa-3 Mary-2 Louisa was born 30 March 1846. In the 1880 Census of Vt: John and Lydia not found. Duane was in Wells, Rutland Cty. working as a farm laborer Jay was married with a son- living in Peru, Bennington.
