I'm interested in the PHILLIPS line that was in Pownal Twp., Bennington Co., VT in the 1790 census. Job PHILLIPS was listed as having 4-1-3 living in his household. Yes, there is another Job PHILLIPS listed, but there's not enough people residing in this household. Job PHILLIPS was born in 1741 in Rhode Island, he was a Revolunatary Veteran and obtain his pension when he was living in Athens County, Ohio around 1820. Job's parents were John PHILLIPS & Tabitha GARDINER.. John was born 27 Sept 1712, RI and died in Pownal Twp., Bennington Co., VT between 1790-1799. Tabitha GARDINER was born about 1714 Rhode Island. I have two other known children: James (no information) & Daniel--living near Job in 1790 Census.
