    2. Barbara McCoy
    3. Jan, Thank you. This is very interesting. I don't know if this is my John West or not. My census "guesses" for him are 1. 1800 age 16-25, Orange, Orange, VT and 2. 1810, age 26-44, Orange, Strafford, VT. There is no family story of him as a medical person, but I don't know what a Sergeant Surgeon did either. I would think he was a little old (for the era) to be enlisting if this is the right John West. Is there any source for more details on him or the regt and company? I also can't figure out how he connected with Anna Harris from Manchester as Bennington and Orange counties are not ajacent. I'm trying to get some bricks loose from this wall! I appreciate any suggestions. 1. Livingston family
    2. I am attempting to discover the parents of Jane Livingston who was born 1791 in NY and married Nathan Welles Richardson in Dorset in 1820. My grandmother's cousin stated that she descended from Phillip Livingston who signed the Declaration of Independence but didn't say how. I would appreciate any information anyone would have.
