P. Smith, ed., History of Addison County Vermont (Syracuse NY 1886) reads: "John Robbins settled on the farm jujst north of David Parkhill now occupied by his son, Ebenezer R. Robbins, in 1798, and remained there until his decease in 1831, at the age of seventy-five years. Henry Robbins is his grandson."
