His mother's name was Almira and he had a relative (possibly a sister) named Anne. I have copies of letters written to him by his aunts Emily Catlin and Elivra Catlin Dickinson in 1828 and 1829. Am trying to figure out how he is a nephew of these Catlin sisters (daughters of David Catlin of Litchfield CT).
