Source, Rutland Vt.Herald--Aug. 26, 1954. RUTLAND, Vt. Aug. 26--Mrs. Rose M. Leahey, 84, 31 Royce street, Rutland, Vt. widow of Edward W. Leahey, died last night at Rutland Vt.Hospital following a long illness.She was born in Vergennes, Vt. April 2, 1870, and has been a resident of Rutland for the past 40 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Anthony Stavaski of California, Pa., and Mrs. Austin Dickerman of Pittsford,Vt.; a son, Edward W. Leahey of Silver Springs, Md.; two sisters Mrs. David Chapleau of Ticonderoga, N.Y., and Mrs. Howard Pigge of Lyon, Mt. N.Y.; six grandchildren, and one great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at Christ the King Church. Burial will be in St. Aphonsus cemetery in Pittsford Vt. Friends may call at the Clifford Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
