' - A genealogy put together by a Miss Gilmore. This is actually about the Fairchild family. This is a genealogy of Thomas Fairchild b 1610 England and lived in Stratford CT. There are several loose ends - that is Fairchilds that did not descend from this Thomas- for example several Fairchilds came down the St Lawrence from Irelend and down along Lake Champlain into NY - there are several Nelson Fairchilds - but none that match yours> I will look for my second edition which is thicker Fredericks(1841) siblings all born NY - Essex county are Aaron(1834), James(1846), John Henry(1848) It may be possible that there was a brother Nelson in there - given the gap between Aaron and Frederick (7 years)
