Source, Rutland Vt. Herald--Wed. Aug. 3, 1932. MIDDLEBURY, Vt. Aug. 2--Ellen Haight Cushman, wife of Oscar H. Cushman, died this morning after a brief illness at her home, 27 Washington street. She was born in South Bristol, Vt., October 2, 1852, the daughter of William and Ellen Barnard Haight. She was united in marriage to Oscar H. Cushman, March 13, 1872. She is survived by her husband and two children, Earl L. Cushman of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Alice Cushman Drake of Ticonderoga, N.Y.,two granddaughters, and a sister, Mrs. Frank A. Ruf of St. Louis, Mo. Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
