Wolcott have returned from Middlebury where they attended a reception for Mr.and Mrs. Guy Wolcott, who were recently married. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Giard of Vergennes were Sunday guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Giard. The re-organization meeting of the Happy Helper's 4-H club will be held at the home of Mrs. Guy St. George Saturday night. A covered dish supper will be served at 5:30 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pratt and sons were Sunday callers at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Lucia in Middlebury. The Home Demonstration club met at the home of Mrs. Moses Roberts yesterday afternoon. Word has been received that J. G. Sunderland who is seriously ill at the home of his son in Forest Dale, is recovering. George Sellack and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Sellack and son of Middlebury were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. G. A. St. George. Mrs. Walter Brown is a patient at Mary Fletcher hospital in Burlington. Harry Hutchison of Woodcliff Lake, N. J., and Howard Travis of Hillsdale, N. J. , were week end guests of the former's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Hutchison. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Pratt were Sunday guests of Mrs. Gertrude Jefferys in Poultney and visited her son who is a patient at the Rutland Hospital, recovering from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mr. and Mrs. M. T. Wolcott and Miss Kathrine Baldwin and Mrs. Lydia Taylor and son, Robert attended a reception given Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Baldwin of Shoreham in honor of their 25 th wedding anniversary. The Sunshine circle will hold a social at 8 o'clock Friday night. Following the supper, an entertainment by the children will be given. Ray Bliss of Rutland was a week-end guest at the home of H. N. Sollace. Mr. and Mrs. O. S. Doane of Burlington are spending a few days at the home of their daughter, Mrs. K. W. Myrick. John Witherill of Middlebury was a Sunday guest of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. S. Witherill. Mr. and Mrs. K. W. Myrick are visiting relatives in Brattleboro while Myrick is deer hunting. Mrs. Elizabeth Pitkin has returned to Schroon Lake, N. Y., after visiting Mrs. Edward Wimett. E. E. Davis is ill. Mr. and Mrs. John Moham and family of Shoreham have moved into the Fletcher house. Mrs. George Sellack of Middlebury is a guest at her daughter, Mrs. G. A. George. Mrs. Nina Whittie has returned after visiting Mrs. Mary Norton of Vergennes.
