Source, Rutland Vt. Herald--Aug. 26, 1954. MRS. EDWARD W. LEAHEY Mrs. Rose M. Leahey, 84, of 31 Royce street, Rutland, Vt., widow of Edward W. Leahey, died last night at the Rutland Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Vergennes, Vt. April 2, 1870, and has been a resident of Rutland for the past 40 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Anthony Stavaski of California, Pa., and Mrs. Austin Dickerman of Pittsford, Vt.; a son, Edward W. Leahey of Silver Springs, Mad.; two sisters, Mrs. David Chapleau of Ticonderoga, N. Y., and Mrs. Howard Pigge of Lyon Mt , N. Y.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Christ the King Church. Burial will be in St. Aphonsus cemetery in Pittsford, Vt. Friends may call at the Clifford Funeral Home today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
