Y., visited her aunt, Mrs. Julia Munger, and her mother, Mrs. Grace Blackmer, Thursday. Hands Cove chapter, D. A. R., will meet at the club rooms in Shoreham at 2 o'clock next Wednesday. Mrs. Emogene W. Munger, Mrs. Grace Blackmer and Mrs. Ralph A. Blackmer, with Mrs. Rollin S. Bishop of Brandon visited Mrs.Mabel Stevens in Rutland Wednesday, Mrs. Emogene Munger remaining for a longer stay. Mrs. Charles Wisell and son, Thaddeus Wisell, visited Fordyce A. J. Wisell and family in Rutland last week. Charles and Harold Wisell returning to Orwell with them for a week-end visit. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Skinner o Waltham, Mass., were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Olin B. Root over the week-end. Independence lodge of Masons meet tomorrow night for work on the Master Mason degree. It is expected that District Deputy Grand Master J. Wesley Murdock of Middlebury will make his annual visit to the lodge at this time. The horsesheds at the rear and west side of the Congregational church, are being tore down.
