(June) George Pemberton, convicted of an attempt to poison Mr. Grandey's horse, at Vergennes, was sentenced by Judge Bennett, to hard labor for two years in the State's Prison. He was taken to Windsor on Thursday. On the charge of arson, for which the same person was arraigned, the jury were unable to agree.
