Source, Rutland Vt.Herald--August 7, 1948 PITTSFORD, Vt. Aug. 6--Arthur Lovejoy, 70, died at the Proctor, Vt. hospital today after a long illness. He was born at Indian Lake, N.Y., on April 25, 1878, and lived in Pittsford, Vt. for 50 years. Surviving are his wife, the former Alice Fallon, a son, Francis, of Pittsford, Vt.; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Horvath of Rutland, Vt. and Mrs. Veronica Champine of Pittsford, Vt.; four grandsons; one granddaughter; one great- granddaughter; four sisters, Mrs. Charles Pashley of Indian Lake, N.Y., Mrs. Arthur Stanton and Mrs.Earl Plumley of Long Lake , N.Y., and Mrs. Jesse Mack of Middlebury, Vt.; three brothers, George of Corinth, N.Y., Burton of Johnson, V., and Richard of Lynn, Mass. The funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. at St. Alphonsus' church in Pittsford, with burial in the church cemetery.
