Eddy and Carl French, charged respectively with having more pickerel on hand than the law allows at any time, and with dynamiting Bristol Pond, was held Tuesday before Justice C. W. Norton. State's Attorney F. W. Tuttle of Vergennes appeared for the state and Murray Bourne for the respondents waived examination and they were bound over to the County Court. Another case, Austin Barlow, charged with owning a dog that has been chasing deer, was also heard and appealed to the County Court.
