My grandmother was Laura Mae Jones born 1891/died 1953. Her brother, Horace Jones born 12/1/1892 in Joliet Illinois and died in 1972 in Marsseilles, Illinois married to Fannie Mae hall. There has also been the name "Nannie" linked to Laura and Horace (possibly a sister). I know that name sakes were given to family members so here are the names of Laura's children (Harry, Jack, Mary, Phyllis and Ann) all born in Indiana. There also have been ties to a Rose Ellen Smith married to an Arthur Jones, according to my baby book these were the parents of Laura Mae and Horace, however these may have been the ones that raised her, for she always said that she was raised by someone other than her parents and that her parents had died when she was a young child.
