    2. Source, Rutland Vt. Herald--Wed.July 24, 1901. MIDDLEBURY, Vt. Bush Wilmarth of the class of 1900, Middlebury college, who recently received his degree of master of arts at Harvard,goes to Burr and Burton seminary at Manchester next fall as instructor in mathematics and sciences. At the special meeting of the Catholic Order of Foresters Monday evening,it was voted to attend the picnic at Bow and Arrow point given today by the Vergennes court and some 25 will leave this morning. A baseball team was organized to complete with another court on that outing. Alfred Dufresue of St. Albans, has entered the employ of Covert, the barber. E. W. Fuller, foreman of the News office, Bristol, was in town calling on friends Monday. Work was resumed on the reservoir Tuesday and will be continued from now on until the same is completed. C. B. Amsden of Springfield, Mass., is the guest of his brother, Frank Monroe. S. P. Nash is away on a business trip. Photographer Jackson took a party of friends u the creek in his launch Sunday. Deputy Sheriff Fletcher of Brandon was in town Tuesday. The dam and flume at Brooksville have been undergoing repairs the past week, a large force of men being employed. Edward Higgins, who has been seriously ill, is improving.
