I HAVE A QUESTION ... Does anyone know WHY so many of the Residents of Addison co, VT moved to Crawford Co. PA around 1850-1855? My STURDEVANT/CHERBINO LINE went to French Creek, Crawford PA .. Right on the Erie Canal? Granddad "drove a (hauling) team" on the Erie.. They then followed 1/2 brothers to Eaton Co, MI Subject: Re: [VTADDISO] Baird in 1828 Addison Co VT James Barton (1792-1851), son of Solomon Barton and Phebe Quimby, husband of Phebe Scott (1808-1880), lived in Ferrisburg Hollow/Monkton before moving to Beaver Township, Crawford County PA.
