    3. I'm searching for any information on David Chittenden, born abt 1768, died 1829. He was living in New Haven for the 1800 census, with three sons under 10, and in 1810 and 1820 he was living in Middlebury. He may or may not have had two wives, first a Betsy and then Ruth. Ruth was living with son Nelson in 1850 and there was another Chittenden, David W, on the same census page. Basically I'm trying to link my ancestor Myron or Miron Chittenden to David. I recieved information some time ago that Miron was David's son but that it couldn't be proved because the courthouse in Middlebury burned down. Any information on David will be gratefully recieved! I've found him mentioned a couple of times in the Addison county history that is online through Middlebury college, but no mention of wives or children. Thanks, Lynn Chittenden Hohler

    3. Hello, I found in Middlebury's Case St. Cemetery listings recorded in the Branches & Twigs magazine a Mrs. Ruth Chittenden, widow of David Chittenden died May 5th, 1857 aged 74 years, 10 months and 10 days. Also a Nelson Chittenden died April 28, 1880 at age 69. There was also in the same cemetery a Cynthia, wife of D.W. Chittenden, died August 30, 1858, age 36. Does this help you at all? I didn't see any mention of Myron.
