Stevens have had their residences wired for electricity. W. W. Smith of Fair Haven was in town Thursday and Friday. Miss Illeen Conway went to Albany, N. Y., Saturday where she has a position. There is another case of scarlet fever in town, George Barron coming down with the disease Sunday morning at A.C. Barnard's. The schools in town will close for a week. Mrs. T. W. Ra of Brandon and Mrs. C. I. Button of Middlebury were guests of Mrs. E. L. Warren and daughters from Saturday evening until Monday morning. A car load of coal arrived at North Orwell Saturday night.
