Source, Rutland Vt.Herald--Wed.Jan. 18, 1939. RUTLAND, Vt. Mrs, Inez L. Fisher, 86, sister of the late Mayor Arthur W. Perkins, died at her home a 24 Pine street Rutland, Vt. yesterday afternoon after a long illness. Mrs. Fisher was born in East Middlebury, Vt., August 26, 1853, the daughter of Rufus Lyman and Olive N. Smith Perkins. She had lived in Rutland for about 40 years and was a member of the Baptist church. She was married in 1883 in this city to John C. Fisher, who died in 1910. Mrs. Fisher is survived by several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Tossing Funeral home where funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon a 2 o'clock.Rev. George W. Peck, jr., pastor of the Baptist church will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
