Source, Rutland Vt. Herald--Sat. April 3, 1920. VERGENNES, Vt. Walter Laree, aged 13, and David Ploof, aged 9, both of Burlington, were found guilty of habitual truancy in Burlington city court Tuesday and were committed Wednesday to the Vermont Industrial school in this city. Both of the boys' fathers are dead and their mothers work and the boys had remained out of school contrary to their orders.
