He is now deceased but there are still descendants of the Willmarth family around Addison. I suspect most are buried on the east side of Route 22A south of the Baptist parsonage which is diagonally across from the church. Asa is mentioned in H. P. I am a descendant of Susannah Smith (1742-1811) who married Isaac Hobbs in Toppsfield, Essex Co, MA. She is reputed to be linked to Joseph Smith the Prophet also. This couple is buried in the old Stow cemetery in the area of Weybridge. Their daughter Elizabeth Hobbs and her husband John Britell are in the same cemetery. To date, I do not find a Louisa Kidd, Wm. Royce, or Cynthia Smith in my incomplete database. I have a little more on the Hobbs family if you think it would help. ...Jo ----- Original Message ----- From: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com> To: <VTADDISO-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, December 11, 2006 1:57 PM Subject: [VTADDISO] Louisa Kidd > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Surnames: > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.vermont.counties.addison/2825/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > I am looking for the family of Louisa Kidd. The last census he was in before he died stated that he was born in Middlebury Vermont, if it had just been the state I would not have been so sure, but since this had the city and the state it is very likely that he was the one to give to information. I am not sure where Catharine was born. I found a will for David that listed all of his children, including one that had died before him. Then my sister and I sent for death certificates on his children, that is how we got Catharine's last name. I do not know who David's father is, someone suggested that it might be Hendrick Hier. Also I found that some one has Catharine on RootsWeb and they have a David Sprague as her Father and a Demis Scowton as her mother. I think I spelled those names correct. But they have no children listed for her. Let me know what you think? Judy
