    1. [VTADDISO] Case st Cemetery in Middlebury?
    2. Lynn Hohler
    3. Hi All, I've googled the Case St Cemetery in Middlebury looking for a phone number and can't find anything. Is this an historical cemetery with no contact info? There is a Chittenden plot there and I've the names of a few burials but wanted to check to see if there are any more. Does anyone know where the cemetery records are? Thanks, Lynn Hohler

    1. Re: [VTADDISO] Addison Co Newspapers?
    2. Kathy Campbell
    3. In the search for the ever elusive David and Miron Chittenden I'm going to start looking at newspaper microfilm for the time and place. Does anyone know what Addison county newspapers are microfilmed, covering 1800 to 1830? Sheldon Museum has a morgue of old newspapers for Addison County (I know I've used them) (the last time I was there, though, they still had the big bound books with the papers; I don't know if they have ever been microfilmed). Prior to the Addison Independent (which wasn't started until the 1930's-1940's time frame (I can't remember offhand, and I should know - I worked there back in the 1970's), there was the Middlebury Register, and that went back a lot further. Early American Newspapers, which are offered at some libraries, might have some newspapers from Addison County. Kathy

    3. Hi Kathy, Thanks for the info! I'll contact the Sheldon Museum with a few definate death dates and see if they might be willing to look in the bound books. I just discovered a list of microfilm held by the Isley Library in Middlebury, so I'm checking to see if they will interlibrary loan to California. Thanks again, Lynn
