I'm pretty sure that the Chase/Scott marriages you found are relevant to Sarah Melissa Chase's lineage, but I really don't want to get involved in that family right now. There are a number of family trees online linking Sarah to numerous Chases in Bristol, but what I am trying to do is to find out more about Lucius Clark, to determine whether he is a son of Jeremiah Clark and Betsey Stone, my g-g-grandparents. They were married in Mt. Holly, Rutland, VT and then later moved to Massena, St. Lawrence, NY. According to the catalog of the Family History Library, there are two indexes to early Bristol births, deaths, marriages that people have put together -- I may have to send for these. No index to the old book but I found 2 marriages in earlier for Thurston Chase and Maria Scott 3/7/1810 Bristol vT & Amos Scott Jr. and Charlotte Chase 2/23/1812.
