FRANK PERKETT The death of Mrs. Frank Perkett occurred at her home Tuesday evening at 6:15 after an illness of about two months. She has been a resident of this place about sixteen years, coming here from Vergennes and living with a son of a previous marriage until her marriage to Mr. Perkett. She is survived by the husband and three sons, Howard Bombard, John and Theodore Lavalley. She was about 68 years of age. There are also three sisters who reside in Vergennes. Funeral services were held from St. John's church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. I'm looking for information on any of the family members listed in the obituary. The information I have so far is that Almira Daignault married John H. LaValley. They had 2 sons, John W. (born 1878)and Theodore. John H. died sometime around 1880. Almira later married someone named Bombard (I haven't found a first name for him), and they had a son, Howard (born 1896). Almira and the 3 boys were living in Burlington, VT, in 1900. Almira later married Frank Perkett and they lived in the Keeseville, NY, area until her death in 1924. I've found several names connected with the family that might be Almira's sisters: Mrs. Fred Bober, Mrs. Arthur Curran, Helen Hamilton, Helen Cornwright, Mrs. Lee Talbot. I believe her mother (name?) was married to Alfred Sandberg or Sauberge. I would very much appreciate any info on this family. Thanks. I would like to know more about the family of Lorinda and Solomon Brown. I found a Lorinda Brown residing with Jeremiah Pierce age 37 and Edna R.age 26 in 1850 in Whiting, Addison, Vermont age 53. I am trying to confirm whether or not she is Edna R,'s mother. Lorina follows them to Ormo, Winnebago, Wisconsin and is found on the 1860 census there residing alone at the age of 63. There is no more census records of her there. I would also be interested in her maiden name if anyone knows it. Jeremiah's parentage is also of Vermont and unknown. I would appreciate any help I can get....Ina ina4@netzero.com _____________________________________________________________ Get a life insurance quote online. Are you familiar with the book, "Tichenor Families in America" by Harold A Tichenor? There is a chapter on Zopher and his family. I have a copy of the first page of the chapter which I can send you. It speculates that Zopher's Father is a Martin Tichenor. I also own the book but it's at another location. Dave Baldwin Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
