Hello ! I have A William Peake & Wife Jane Oliver/Peake who moved to MONKTON/Stoksboro after the year 1784 and william died in 1813 and Jane died in 1817. ARE there any death or burial records for these years? ALSO they had a son Seth Peake who died in 1827 in BRISTROL are there any records for this year in BRISTOL

Source, Ticonderoga (N.Y.) Sentinel--Aug. 11, 1921. ORWELL, VT. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Wissell are in camp at Lake St. Catherine for a week. Robert Heck of Boston is visiting relatives in town for a week or more M. J. Cronin of Hartford, Conn., is spending his vacation in town with relatives and friends. Robert Barker and sister, Miss Nettie of Monkton and Mrs. Derby of Hinesburg were Sunday guests at G. C. Phelps'. Mrs. Corinne Lafley is in Benson caring for Mrs. George Colette and baby. The Chautauqna which closed Saturday drew fairly good crowds but it is not expected that Orwell will support that kind of a show another year. Miss Nora Root of Hubbarton has been spending several days with her aunt Mrs. O. B. Root. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bratt of Fort Edward were recent guests at C. B. Cook's. D. J. Miss Loanson of New York city is spending her vacation with Vera Wartman at the home of Mr. and Mrs.H. J. Lapham. Mrs. A. L. LaBier has returned to her home after spending a week at Boreas River, caring for her husband's father, Nelson LaBier, who was threatened with pneumonia. Mrs. Ernest Woodbury spent the week end with her mother, Mrs. Sarah Mechan, in Shoreham. Mrs. Margaret Bullard of Rochester,N.Y., is spending the summer at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. LaBier. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Stone spent several days at lake Dunmore as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Norton. Mrs. Edna Myrick of Middlebury and Mrs. Wm. Source, Ticonderoga (N.Y.) Sentinel--Aug. 18, 1921. BRIDPORT, VT. Mr. and Mrs. Paris Myrick and daughter, Lillian spent Sunday with John Duckett and daughter. Farmers have commenced threshing in this section and the grain is yielding fairly good. Mrs. Margaret Bullard spent several days last week with Mrs. John Andre and Mrs. Robt. Fiske at Crown Point Center. Vincent Montbriand, who is employed at A. L. LaBier's spent the week end at his home in Ticonderoga. The Misses Finch and Kerley spent Friday night with Mrs. A. L. LaBier, enroute from the summer school on Bread Loaf Mt. to their home in Ballston Spa. Vera Wartman accompanied her friend, Miss Ivanson, as far as Whitehall on her return trip to New York city. Source, Ticonderoga (N.Y.) Sentinel--Mar. 31, 1910. SHOREHAM, VT. March 28--Rev. David M. James assisted Mr. Wattie, the pastor, in the services at the Cong'l church on Easter Sunday. John Rice, a guest at the home of J. C. Moore, returned to his home at Springfield, Mass. today. Herbert Farnham, who spent the winter with his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Jones, now has a position in Whiting. John Dickinson and family, who have lived in town several years, are leaving this week to make their home in Orwell. The Home Department of the Cong'l Sunday school was invited to attend and assist in the review exercises of the regular Sunday school Easter Sunday.
