I am specifically looking for the DAY, OLIN and SMITH families that would probably have been members, if there was indeed a church blg. there yet. Thanks, Ruth in IL

Does anyone know of any newspapers in Addison County in 1810? My ancestor Mary Hill was born there in Jun 1810 - I haven't been able to find any birth record or reference to her parents and hope maybe there was a newspaper entry. Mary was married to Leonard Parker in Richland County, Ohio in 1826 but I don't know when she moved to Ohio to Vermont. Thanks! I enjoyed doing research and helping others with their research, but lately I wonder if it's worth it . There are always a few who ruin a good thing . Not being repaid for money I personally paid out of own pocket is bad enough, but to never even getting a thank you really hurts. I know I am not alone I have heard the same thing from other volunteers. Sorry if I sound upset, I am ! Please no discussion about this on the list. Joan H. Bixby
