Maurice Baird will receive his honorable discharge from military service tomorrow. He has been with the Air Force and Army eight years. He participated in the final attacks, as a bombardier, over Japan, later returning with the Army of Occupation. He came back to this country in May, 1949, and for the past three months has been stationed at Ellington Field Air base near Houston, Tex. Baird is expected home about January 25.
