Bixby Article Title: Rutland Daily Herald Article Date: March 20 1944 Article Description: Obituary of John Cantwell Article Text: FAIR HAVEN, VT.--March 19--John Cantwell, 86, died here this morning in a convalescent home after a long illness. He was born in North Granville, N.Y. He was a life-long resident of Fair Haven, working as a quarry and mill worker. He is survived by a son, William, of Chicago, Ill., and three grandchildren. The body was removed to the Durfee Funeral home where it will remain until the hour of the service at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church.
