Source, Rutland Vt.Herald--Thur.Oct.18,1917. POULTNEY, Vt. Mrs. John F. Evans died at her home in South Poultney, Vt. Sunday morning about 11 o'clock. She is survived by her husband and two sons, John and Caradoc of South Poultney, Vt., and one daughter, Mrs. Eliza Hughes of Utica, N.Y., and one brother, C. Jones of Fair Haven, Vt. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the South Poultney, Vt. Welsh church at 1 o'clock and burial was in Fair Haven, Vt., in Cedar Grove cemetery. The bearers were M. P. Williams, E. Griffiths, W. Owens, W. J. Pricthard, R. Lloyd and O. P. Jones. Rev. Mr. Morris of South Poultney officiated.
