Mr.and Mrs. Roger Gilligan and son, Rogers, of New York are spending two weeks at the Kintner cottage, Lake St. Catherine. Mrs.F.Ritter, Mrs. C. W.Roys, Mrs. G. H. Norton, and Mrs. C.T. Kett entertained a bridge luncheon, Tuesday at the Equinox, Manchester, 70 being present. Honors were awarded to Mrs. Lena G. Knapp of Middletown Springs, Mrs. Levi Ayres of Granville, N.Y., and Mrs. Walter Atkins and Mrs. James A, Vogel of Poultney. Miss Betty Henry of New York is the guest of her sister, Mrs. W. E. Broughton. Mrs. R. C. Brown and son, Roland, of Herkimer, N.Y., are visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Evans. Misses Agnes Kubin, Josephine Vladyka and Emma Kral attended a dinner party Wednesday in Rutland given by the former's sister, Miss Anna Kubin. Mrs. Burt Grant and family have moved to the tenement on York street, recently vacated by L. Mayhew. Mr. and Mrs.Edwin Evans have had as guests Mr. and Mrs. Walter Mallory and son , George, of New York. Mrs. G. E. Maranville was in Rutland Tuesday. Mrs. Nettie Clark of Cambridge, N.Y.spent Tuesday with Mrs.Dan Rafferty. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest R. Lamb of Rutland called on relatives in town Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Evans of Columbus, O., are guests of her mother, Mrs. Janet Williams. Misses Rachel Clap, Esther Ripley, Adeline Williams and Leta Carroll are on an auto trip to Montreal. Mr. and Mrs. C. H.Blossom attended the wedding of Paul Pelton, Rutland and Miss Thelma Williams in Granville Monday afternoon. Erwin H. Brown of Rutland and Mr. and Mrs. George N. Parker and children of West Rutland called on Mr. and Mrs. William Woods recently. After visiting her mother, Mrs. Harriet Vogel, Mrs. H. Wells Person and daughter, Norma Ann, have returned to Ballston Spa.
