Source, Rutland, VT.Daily Herald--Thur. Nov. 26, 1931. FAIR HAVEN, Vt. HUGH H. OWENS, 70, DIES IN FAIR HAVEN Nov. 25--Hugh H. Owens, a well known resident of this town, died at the Rutland (Vt) hospital this morning at 1:15 o'clock. Mr. Owens was born in Lianfair, North Wales, May 28,1861 and came to Fair Haven 50 years ago following his trade as a quarryman during these years. He is survived by a son, Idwal H. Owens and a grandson, Idwal M. jr., of Atlanta, Ga., two brothers, Richard H. Owens of Exeter, Cal., and John H. Owens of Wales, Mr. Owens was an elder of the Welsh Presbyterian church. The funeral services will be held at the home of Mrs. Hugh T. Jones, West Park place. This is not my relative.
