Source, Rutland, Vt.Daily Herald--Fri. Apr. 10, 1908. FOURTEEN DIVORCES GRANTED. Bill Refused In Only One Case at This Term of County Court. John W. Blanchard Will Have to Pay Bail of William Nesbit, Who Jumped the Town, Recess Taken Until the 27th, List of Cases in Which Divorces Were Granted. Fourteen divorces were granted by Judge W. H. Taylor yesterday morning in cases for separation that have been heard at various times during this term of court. Only one case, that of Laura E. Adams against Charles W. Adams, was continued for lack of evidence. The state docket was cleared up when the case of state against John Flynn was nolle prossed and a judgement rendered in the case of state against John W. Blanchard. The divorces granted were in the following cases; Jennie J. Lincoln vs.George W. Lincoln, and Rose Elliot vs. William E. Elliott,, desertion; Hattie L. Reynolds vs. James M. Reynolds, intolerable severity : Ida Lowell vs. Ezra Lowell, intolerable severity ; Ella C. Kinney vs. Fred L. Kinney, refusal to support ; Mary Johnson vs. Oscar W. Johnson, refusal to support ; Clara McDonald vs.. Howard P. McDonald, desertion; Della Myers vs. Charles D. Myers, desertion ; Carrie M. Adshade vs. Sidney S. Adshade , intolerable severity, petitioner has custody of minor child ; George E. Aldrich vs. Fanny L. Aldrich , statutory offense ; Jessie A. Heath vs. Elmer W. Heath , intolerable severity ; Flora B. Owens vs. James N. Owens, intolerable severity; custody of minor children committed to petitioner ; Isabelle Leonard vs. Herbert G. Leonard, intolerable severity, care of two minor children to petitioner ; Grace H. B. Spaulding vs. Merton J.Spaulding, desertion. MUST PAY BAIL BOND. In the case of state against John W.Blanchard, a judgment was rendered in favor of the state, whereby Blanchard must pay $ 50 and costs. Mr.Blanchard went bail for William Nesbit in City court and Nesbit jumped the town, leaving Blanchard to pay bail. A partial hearing was held in the divorce case of Agnes Taylor against Alec Taylor. This case will be completed afer the recess. At 10:30 o'clcok court adjourned until Monday the 27th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
