Article: Mrs. O. J. McShane Dies at Her Home in Bristol. The death of Mrs. Anna M. McShane wife of O.J. McShane, occurred at her home in Bristol on Thursday afternoon of last week, after an illness of one year of a complication of diseases. She was born in Bristol in November, 1856, the daughter of William and Hannah (Fitzgerald) Hinec.She had been a resident of Monkton for nineteen years, and a resident of Bristol for about fifty years. She was married to Ona J. McShane on May 15, 1882, and previous to her marriage she was a school teacher. Deceased is survived by her husband and three sons, O. W. McShane and L. E. McShane of Poultney and B. J. McShane of Chicago, ILL. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock from St. Ambrose church, Bristol, Rev. N. Archambault officiating, assisted by Rev. M. S. O'Donnell of Poultney.The bearers were P.E. Whalen, John J.Welch, Thomas Leonard,John Butler, Michael Crowley and John Fitzgerald.
