Source, Rutland Vt.Daily Herald--Fri.April 6, 1928. POULTNEY, Vt. Ira C. Wilson, 73, died late Tuesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs.Lena Thomas, after an illness of three months. He is survived by four daughters and a son, Mrs. Thomas T. Evans, Mrs. Lena Thomas of Poultney, Vt., Mrs. Daniel Hooker, West Somerville, Mass., Charles Wilson of Oneonta, Mrs. Ellis M. Rowlands of Poultney, Vt.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen B. Wilson of Poultney. The body was taken to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rowlands, where the funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Rev. S. D. Hodlin, pastor of the Hampton (NY) Methodist church, of which Mr. Wilson was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in Poultney cemetery.
