Source "Vermont Phoenix" (Brattleboro), March 4, 1847, pg. 3: "In Guilford, on Feb. 16th, ult., 1847 Mrs. Lydia Mowry, died wife of Mr. James Mowry, aged 66 years. [This is my 4th great grandmother. Jan Jordan] "On the introduction pages of the 'Extracts From The Rutland Weekly Herald' 1800-1805 ult. refers to the month prior." In "Burial Grounds of Vermont" it lists two Wilkins Hill Cemeteries in Guilford, VT, on page 405: Wilkins Hill # 1 was first used in 1787- lastly in 1974- about 100 burials. Wilkins Hill #2 is abandoned- with field stones only. About 5 burials.
