Mrs.Walter McConet of St.Albans has returned home after spending a few days with relatives in this city. Miss Mary Davis of Albany,N.Y., has returned there after spending a month's vacation at the home of Mr. and Mr. Michael Burke of Lincoln Avenue. Fred T. Haney, who was called here by the death of his father, has returned to his home in Los Angeles. Miss Thelma Hazelton, a student at Middlebury college, spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Maud Hazelton of Sycamore Inn. Miss Lucille Eddy of Crescent street returned last night from Bridgewater where she has been spending a week with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Bartlett and son, Clement,and Mrs. Mary Bartlett of West Rutland, and Mrs. Alfred Galarneau of State street are spending a few days in North Adams, Mass. Miss Rita Gillespie of Columbian avenue has returned from North Adams, Mass., where she was called by the death of a relative. Mrs. Martyn Hartigan of Gardner, Mass., has been spending a few days with her sister, Mrs.George Sullivan of Grove street. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh H. Baxter of New Rochelle,N.Y., are spending several days at their estate on Grove street. Attorney John S. Dorsey of State street is in Quebec. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whittemore and family of Glens Falls,N.Y., formerly of Rutland, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Whittemore of Fairview avenue. Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Mayo of Woodville,N.H.,and Mrs.R.Kelly and son, Donald,of Wells River, spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Amblo of North Main street. Russell Eddy and Orville May, who have been spending the summer in Rutland, returned yesterday to their home in Troy, N.Y.
