Article Text: The regular meeting of the Eureka Parents-Teachers association was held with Mrs. Williams Owens. Fifty dollars was made on the quilt. Miss Thelma Dean went Friday to Boston to attend Worcester Domestic Science school on Chestnut Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Parry of Bristol were recent visitors in South Poultney. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ellis of Rutland called on relatives recently. Mrs.L.S.Kintner and daughter, Miss Valoise Kintner, motored to Boston yesterday, where Miss Kintner is a student at Emerson School of Oratory. Their guest, Mrs. T. L. Griggs , of Winter Park, Fla., who has been spending several weeks here, accompanied them. Mr. and Mrs. Kitchell of New York, who have been spending the summer at their cottage at Lake St. Catherine, returned Saturday to their home. Master Laurence Benedict of Rutland spent the week-end in East Poultney with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Parro. Miss Vera Woodruff went yesterday to Canton,N.Y., where she attends St. Lawrence College. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Humphrey of Granville and Mrs. Elizabeth H. Ellis and daughter, Salome Ellis, of Whitehall spent Sunday with Mrs. Mary Humphrey. (Mary Humphrey was my g-grandmother. Evan was her son and Elizabeth was her daughter) Mr. and Mrs. David Pereault of Rutland were week-end guests of Mrs. Pereault's parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Livingston. Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Warren and daughter, Miss Helen Warren , have returned from Boston, were they spent a week. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Woods, spent Sunday in Rutland. Miss Ceidiwen Parry was a Granville visitor on Saturday. The Odd Fellows will have a degree to work this evening. All members should be present and Tuesday night District meeting No.9 will be held with Netis Lodge, Grand offices will be present and Granville Mettowee lodge will work the first degree. A banquet will follow. Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Briggs of Schenectady spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. W.
