Source, Rutland Vt.Herald--Thur.Jan. 8, 1891. WEST RUTLAND, Vt. J. W. Grant is visiting his parents in Bristol. During his absence his business is in charge of John P.Roddy. W.W.Graham, who has been sick from pneumonia, is rapidly recovering. He received a telegram yesterday announcing the death of his brother, James Graham of Rockford, Iowa, from the same disease, after a sickness of only four days. The recent rain and freeze-up has made considerable work on the street railway necessary.Men have been busy cutting and cleaning away the ice from the tracks. John S.Tuttle has sold his house and lot on Clarendon avenue to James Hornage of North Adams, Mass. Possession is to be given April 1,next, consideration $ 2750.50. Mr. Tuttle will make Rutland his future home. The annual meeting of the Congregational church will be held this evening. The members and friends of Grace church are anticipating an enjoyable time at Mr. Felt's tonight. The continued good sledding gives the lumbermen a happy appearance. Every available team is in use. Several are hauling lumber for Mr. Manley from his Shrewsbury farm.
