July 18--William Davies, 73, died at 3 p.m Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harold Belden, where he had been for the past few weeks on account of poor health. His wife was the late Catherine (Humphreys) Davies and preceded him in death about four years. Survivors are : one daughter, Mrs. Harold Belden; five sons, Ellis of Whitehall, William of Buffalo, Idwal of Schenectady, Raymond of Syracuse and Russell of Greenwich, N.Y.; one grandson, Bernard Belden of Putnam; and a brother and sister in Wales. The body was taken to his late home at North Poultney (Vt) were funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon.
