Mrs. Emma Derby, widow of the late John Derby, one of Poultney's long time, and most esteemed resident, died at her home on Main street Saturday night, aged eighty-six years. She leaves two sons, Clare Derby of Concord, N. H., and William Derby of New York, and one sister, Mrs. Horace Derby of this village.
