Kirkbride, aged 53 years, died at his home on Edson street yesterday morning at 3:15 o'clock after an illness of about six months. Heart disease was the cause of his death. Mr. Kirkbride had been a resident of this city about 14 years, during which time he acted as foreman of W. R. Kinsman's marble and granite works. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Albert W. Kirkbride of Stockbridge, Mass., and Robert O. Kirkbride of this city, and a daughter, Miss Mabelle Kirkbride, also of this city. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary.

    2. Source, Rutland, Vt.Daily Herald--Mon.Nov.23, 1903. RUTLAND, VT. The funeral of Edwin B. Dodge, who died at his home on Pine street Friday evening after a nine years' illness, will be held at the Masonic temple tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, and will be in charge of Killington commandery, Knights Templar, of which the deceased was a member. Prayers will be said at the house at 1 o'clock.Mr. Dodge was born in Bellows Falls,Vt. August 10,1850. At the age of 19 he entered the 12th Vermont infantry and fought in the Civil war for nine months., being mustered out a sergeant. After the war Mr. Dodge moved to this city, where he has lived ever since. He was a fireman and afterwards an engineer in the employ of the Central Vermont Railroad company for about 36 years. Besides his wife, Mr. Dodge is survived by a niece, Mrs. E. E. Rugg of this city ; a step-daughter, Mrs. F. C. Warren of Fox Lake, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs. Marion Griswold of Saxton's River, Vt. and Mrs. William Farr of Beverly, Mass., and one brother, Randolph Dodge of Bellows Falls, VT.

Benning WENTWORTH, 4 July 1761, in consequence of a petition presented in Dec. 1760, by Edmund FREEMAN & Joseph STORRS, on behalf of about 240 men from Connecticut. Grantees in Hanover included Edmund (3), Nathaniel (2), Sylvanus (Jr.), Russell, Prince, Jonathan, Otis, & Steven FREEMAN, & Joseph (2), Huckins (2), & Samuel STORRS. Edmund FREEMAN, III, was there by 1765, and Jonathan FREEMAN, 1769.

Ross disposed of four cases at yesterday morning's session of the City court.The prisoners were Frank McGann of Hartford, N.Y., John Donahue of Florence,Fred Hammond of Fair Haven and James Palmer of this city. each of the men was fined $ 5.00 and costs, amounting in all to $ 12.50, for intoxication. McGann paid and the others were given 10 days each in the county jail. The case of Patrick Kelley, one of the proprietors of the Banquet house, who is charged with selling liquor without a license, was continued until next Tuesday at the request of the respondent.

    2. Source, Rutland, Vt.Daily Herald--Fri.Nov.20, 1903. RUTLAND, VT. Henry O. Watkins, aged 56 years, was found dead in bed in his room in the Butler block on Evelyn street yesterday morning about 9 o'clock.Upon examination by doctors it was stated that was due to heart disease. The man had been dead several hours when found. Mr. Watkins was a painter and lived alone. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. E. M. Foss, Mrs. George Daniels,and Mrs. J. B. White, and one brother, J. V. Watkins. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the home of the latter on Kingsley avenue.

    2. Source, Rutland, Vt.Daily Herald--Mon.Sept.17, 1923. CLARENDON SPRINGS MAN DROPS DEAD IN BARN. Elmer Peck Ended Life on Farm Where He Was Born and Always Lived. Elmer Peck, 62, of Clarendon Springs dropped dead in his barn late yesterday while caring for his cattle. His dead body was discovered by his wife who became alarmed at her husband's absence from the house. Mr. Peck had been suffering from heart trouble for some time. Mr. Peck was born on the same farm on which he died and upon which he had always lived. He is survived by hi wife, a son, Ralph, and a brother, Avery C. Peck of Clarendon Springs. The funeral will be held at the house Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock , with burial at Chippenhook.

Quigley of Center street. Mr and Mrs. Roy Francis of Woodstock avenue, visited friends in Cuttingsville yesterday. Mrs. Elmer Watson of Providence, R.I., returned Monday to her home after a weekend visit at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pierce of Church street. Miss Edith M. Reynolds of Ogdensburg, N.Y., who has been two months at the home of her brother, Byron W. Reynolds of Kingsley avenue, returned today. Miss Cora Gleason has returned to her home on North street after spending a few weeks with relatives in Vergennes. Mrs. Addie Wheaton has returned to this city after spending some time with friends in Proctor, Pittsford and Brandon.

Hentz, age 59 years, who died yesterday noon at the home of her sister, Mrs. Dion St. Germain, 37 Grant avenue, after a long illness, will be held Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Besides her husband, Mrs. Hentz is survived by two sisters, Mrs.St. Germain, Mrs. Nelson Tulsifer of Muskegon, Mich., four brothers, Joseph Valway of Boston, Frederick of New Bedford, Mass., W. H. of Cleveland, O., and Israel of Vergennes, Vt. Mrs. Hentz had made her home in Worcester, Mass., for a number of years, moving to Rutland last May.She was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart of Mary.

    3. From The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, November 1, 1906 MARIA F. PUTNAM was born February 7, 1824, in the State of Vermont. At an early age she moved to Delaware Co., N.Y., where she was married to CHARLES S. FANCHER, (??vember 8, 1850. To this union three children were born, viz: MRS. MARY F. JOHNSON, of Osceola, Ia., MISS CHARLOTTE FANCHER, of Kansas City, Mo., and GEO. G. FANCHER, of Chariton, Ia., all of whom survive her and were present at the funeral. She continued to reside with her husband in Delaware Co., N.Y., until his death on January 20, 1870. In the spring of 1878 she moved to Osceola, Ia., and in April 1880 to Chariton, Iowa, where she continued to reside until her death on October 24, 1906; aged 82 years, 8 months and 17 days. Funeral services were held at the family residence on Friday at 2 p.m., conducted by Rev. Gaffney united in marriage Miss Mary Katherine Diffley and Wilfred J. Bosquet, both of this city. Miss Bertha Diffley of Albany, N.Y., a sister of the bride was bridesmaid, while the best man was James B. Dougan of this place. The wedding ,which was a quiet affair, was attended by only the immediate friends and relatives of the bride and groom. Those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. John Stewart, P. L. Stewart and Miss Houskinson, all of Mount Holly, Miss Tessie B. Stewart of Castleton, John Brown of Shrewsbury and J. F. Stewart of Bellows Falls.The bride and groom were the recipients of many valuable presents from relatives and friends. The groom is a clerk in the grocery store of C. H. Murdick. Mr. and Mrs. Bosquet will be at home at No.19 Killington avenue after the 20th.
