I have already had others check the Grandma database. Found some mistakes --- my Andreas and Helena have been mixed up with another Andreas and Helena. I have yet to find what boat they arrived on. They ended up settling in Sharon Twp, Johnson Co. Iowa rather than go with those who they migrated with to Kansas and South Dakota. But by the 1890's they ended up moving away from thier fellow Mennonites, closer to Iowa City. And none of thier descendants carried on being Mennonite to my knowledge. Kind regards Shanan Anderson

My grandfather (their grandson) thinks so but can't remember exactly when they died. According to him, Jacob got his land in Ok. through the Cherokee Strip land run. I haven't been able to confirm that yet but if it's true, that might also be the case for his family members who lived nearby.
