Granted my guy is white, but in this book they list the Master as well as the Servant, so maybe if you search for the Randolphs you could find names??? the other thing is that I recently went through the early tax records (1780s-1802) of Frederick county, VA and under N they had the free people of color listed in some of the years. Other years had them mixed in with "Free Negro" in parentheses. sorry I couldn't be of more help Julie Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
