They were living in Gallatin, Kentucky in 1850, so the 1850 Slave Schedules I've found with Thomas Croxton of Essex, Virginia probably have nothing to do with him. If anyone stumbles upon anything relevant, I'd love to hear about it. I'll be happy to share what I know of him after 1850, and he is my great great great grandfather.
