Born ������������������� in Granville County on July 20, 1915, she was the daughter of the late ������������������� Fred Ambrose and Lila Eakes Phipps. She was a homemaker and a ������������������� member of Maplewood Baptist Church. Her husband, Carl Richard ������������������� Obenshain, preceded her in death in August 1993. She was also ������������������� preceded in death by a brother, Fred Ambrose Phipps Jr. Mrs. Obenshain ������������������� is survived by two sons, Richard Obenshain of Ridgeway, Va., and Frank ������������������� Obenshain of Yadkinville; and three grandsons, Cody, Dalton and Tyler ������������������� Obenshain. A graveside service for Mrs. Obenshain will be held at 3 p.m. ������������������� Tuesday, Nov. 12, at Yadkin Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Freddie ������������������� Braswell officiating.
