Joanne, Mary Jane's name comes from my grandfather's book on Lehmans, and I have her picture too. She was the 2 year old in 1840. I have the 1850 New Market, Frederick, MD census which lists her and the siblings, with Charity Busey and Hezekiah Bailey. Shows MJ to be 12, and says she was born in Virginia. I do not have any idea of area. A wonderful lady named Julie sent me the censuses from 1830 to 1850.
