Good evening from Australia. I need help finding a town. I have a death and a marriage certificate for one William Lindsey and a birth of a child of Wm's. The places of birth are given as Virginia, Minois and Mason C and another says Illinois. Now I know Illinois is a separate state but is Minois a town at all in Virginia? and Mason County? He was born around 1837 before coming to Australia in 1853 and is now leading us a merry chase. regards Denise
