I asked a simple question on this list as a newbie a day or two ago and haven't seen an answer. Whilst I understand not everyone can answer a question about a county or a town and whether they exist in Virginia, all I've seen is this rubbish. Denise, I was not familiar with the town you were looking for but I would like to let you know that sometimes towns become ghost towns or change their names. They can do this more than once two. I recently was looking for a town which is now defunct but there are places online where you can find even the towns that no longer exist so if no one has heard of your town don't be discouraged just try looking for it as one being a defunct place. Denise; I have helped many people and if you send me a message about what you need help with I will try to answer it and if not make some suggestions for you. I don't live in Va. but have many ancestors who were and some still there. Send E mail to my email below. I know what you mean. I delete e-mails that don't have my surnames or something in the subject line I can help with. If everyone would put the surnames in subject line or place they need info or message is about, it would be a big , big plus for all Genealogy. Also change the subject line when it goes to a different subject. Hope all who read this will remember the above lines. Thanks.
