Dietrich passed away on Saturday, March 24. 2007 in Fairfax County, Virginia. Mr. Dietrich served the National Railway Historical Socierty in numberous caspacitires, inclding Senior Vice President (1987 - 1996) and Chairman of the Board (1996 - 2005). He also served for several years as president of the Washington, D.C. Chapter. Funeral arrangements are not complete at this time.
